John Palen (FOLK)
John Palen writes songs, and sings them. He developed his music in Kingston, Ontario, and has primarily played there and in Toronto, Ottawa, and Montreal. He has also taken his music on the road, having played as far west as Tofino, as far east as Beijing, and as far south as Melbourne. John uses songs to capture emotion and ideas, ranging thematically from personal introspection, to what it means to be human, to stories of love and war.
